Started stripping my passenger door today, looks like I need to re-skin it or replace it. How hard are they to do?

I did that not too long ago! As long as you get a good quality skin that will fit correctly. Its just a pain to line up perfectly, lots of spot welds to drill out. Door obviously taken off, you said you started? What have you done so far? Ive got some pictures...

I followed martinsr instructions and my job went smoothly. Door skin replacement was easier than I thought.

So, folding the lip was'nt that bad? Thats the only thing I worry about.

folding the lip was not hard. However, I purchased the special body hammer from Eastwoods (I think I got it there)for folding door skin lips. Check their web site for a picture, or go to autobody depot web for a picture. It enables you to get work the lip real easy. But I think most skilled body men get by with an ordinary hammer.
