Looking for some help with some window codes. The following are my window codes from my 1969 chevelle:

Dvr door Flolite AS-2, 27-108, m27.8
Dvr Qtr Flolite AS-2, 27-116, m27.8
Pass door Flolite AS-2, XV-10, DOR 15 M74 (door changed not original)
Pass Qtr Flolite AS-2, 27-118, m27.8

Any help will be appreciated. The windows do not have a two letter code, is this the norm or is it odd? thanks Andy

SS69Chevelle,
I am sure some others will chime in but I think all your glass has been replaced.

GM started using a lot of PPG glass on Chevelles in 1969. Here is the decoding information for LOF and PPG from a Camaro website:
http://www.camaros.org/glass.shtml

The two pieces of glass with the 108 and 118 date codes, Oct. and Nov. of 1968, look to be original tinted glass for a 69. I question whether the 116 date code was typed correctly.

Bruce, you are corrct about the misnumber, it is a 118 not 116. Guess it was a blonde moment or old eyes. based on the info it appears that the glass is all original except the pass door that i know to be changed. Ironically the date codes of the glass match exactly the build on the trim tag. I may not have a build sheet but I am enjoying finding all this stuff matching up to some extent. Now if I could just find out it was a one of a kind ZL1 chevelle and the motor is in an old owners garage for the taking.....ha ha ha Thanks for the help guys much appreciated. Andy
