I am starting from scratch. I ordered a new set of lines for our 70. Seems I am missing something. The line kit reveals I am missing some thing at the master cyl. and maybe a "hold off valve", after the prop valve? I havent tried to put the front to rear line on yet,. but I have an extra line I cant account for. I think thats where it goes. I have a short line from the master cyl. Could someone help me here? My 71 conversion was much easier!

for 70s there is another valve that goes next to the master cylinder. You should have a very short (3") line for this. I believe you can get a repo valve from Ground Up or they show up on Ebay once in awhile.

I thought I had seen one mounted to one of the booster studs in pictures. What about a valve after the prop valve to the rear. I have another brake line Im not sure where it goes, its about 10 inches long.

yes, there is a valve also mounted on the rear of the frame. A hard line goes into this valve and the other end of the hard line goes into a flex hose. This flex hose is secured to the frame with a clip and the other end of the flex hose goes to a brkt. mounted on top of the rear differential, which then splits off to your left and right rear brake cylinders.

Who ever you bought the line kit from should have the valve you need and the correct config. You can also call Doug at Right Stuff and he'll help you. They're great about that. their number is on their web site www.rightstuffdetailing.com
