I am putting my car in for paint on monday , it needs a little bodywork around the fenders (which i want cut out and new metal welded in). What should i make sure is done to the car to ensure a good paint job.. oh yeah it's a color change too.

From my experiance,get everthing in writing and also get in writing when the car will be expected to be finished,don't take anything for granted not even if it's your best freinds,too many bad body shop stories out there and too many cars end up never getting done in a timely fashion,ask quesions on the search part of this web site and there will be threads telling you what a good paint and body job should look like and the materials that are used.
