I have a '66 is in the shop and the right fenders is in pretty bad shape. My body man says he can fix it but he could easily have 10 hours into it. At that rate I will have a $500 patched up fender. I'm having a difficult time finding a GM replacement but the repro's (read thin) are now available. To use one of these would make me sick. I just have a feeling that it wouldn't fit right anyway (this has something to do with dealing with repro parts in the past).
I guess I'm looking for contacts for Body parts. Does our site have a list of southern junkyards to do buisness with?

66PetRat- I am in the Twin Cities. Have parted out four 66 velles Have two front fenders and many other parts. Not trying to make a deal here, but maybe I can help. Where is Malone Wisc? Couldn't find on map that I have. Will be driving to Beloit this weekend. Can't bring parts, but maybe you would like to come up to Cities and dig through my stuff. Karl

This is not a plug.
The Jefferson Swap Meet will be held the weekend of Sept. 28th
I don't know where Malone is, but the swap meet is just north of Janesville, Wisconsin.
It's held twice a year and is probably the biggest in the midwest. Parts, parts, and more parts. I love it.

I went to Jefferson swap meet and found a fender. It wasn't much better than what I already have but my body man says it will save some time.
The good news is I found other interior stuff. New repro in the boxes. Door panels & arm rests with pads, head liner & carpeting and rear shelf for just over $300. Guess it was worth the trip.
Gotta love a productive day at the swap meets!
