The long piece of trim that covers one of the bars on my grilll keeps falling off. How I am supposed to keep it on?

I am talking about the piece of SS that snaps on to one of the lower bars on the grill. It is bent in the middle to match the bend in the bar of the grill. I have tried some adhesive, and have not had any luck.

Mine doesn't have the moldings, but I think there are small metal tabs on the edge that snap over the grille. Bend the tabs in a little to tighten them up.
Otherwise, try a few dabs of household silicone. It will allow you to get it off in the future.

The moldings do not have any tabs that fit around the piece of the grill that they go on. I guess I will try the silicone. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Lucky it just falls inside the front bumper instead of falling to the ground.

I have to use silicone/RTV on my 72 moldings, same idea. One dab at each end, one in the middle, and it will never fall off again. Its invisible so long as you keep it all on the "backside" of the moldings, and removable.

I Tried All the Silicone Sealers and Glue, Nothing Held the Chrome.
I Then used A 2 Part Epoxy. It Has Held For A year So Far.

Same problem here...the ends of the upper moulding keeps popping out. I suppose the repop grill moulding isn't quite bent to the correct form.
I tried a small strip of 3M bodyside moulding double faced tape...that didn't hold.
I'll try the epoxy...

That would not be a proper repair. Everyone knows it takes a drywall screw.
