I am looking for people who have Van Nuys built 1970 Chevelles to help me with some research on VIN stampings. I have read that the VIN derivative on the motor and tranny should start with "10L", but I have seen a number that start with "70L". Would those who are reading that have a Van Nuys car please share what your VIN derivative starts with if you have the original motor or tranny? Thanks in advance!
