: 64-65 Elky replacement quarters

I found a thread a while back about this stating that these were of poor quality. I really just need the very lower part of the rear quarter and around the wheel lip - how's the fit there? Does anyone just sell the lower part - not the entire quarter?

Kinda hurts to buy the whole quarter for $300 then cut the lower part out...

Any thoughts / experiences folks?

Thanks

Patrick, try the Paddock. I got my full `65 quarters from them - very nice fit. Good luck!

the repop quarters "SUCK" I ordered a pair and thank god only one came in so I could cancel the other before I ate two shipping charges. they dont fit at all. I have used quarter for the chevelles from goodmark and they do fit greaton the chevelle, but like I said the El Camino Quarters "SUCK" the body lines are incorrect and are not even close to crisp. thanks, Stan

tloleson: are you talking about El Camino quarters or 2 dr quarters?

stan65: What you're saying is what I've been reading about... bummer. What if I used just the lower portion of the replacement quarter, do you remember if it fit well enough below the lower body line (the one that meets with the whell opening, know what I mean?)

Thanks

Keep me posted on your results Patrick! I'll be doing my '64 next spring. I'll do the same (wheel openings, and below the crease to the bumper) if I find anything.
