Does anyone have any experience with these, and if so, along with improved traction do they also help with wheel hop?
I do not currently have issues with wheelhop but with my new motor going in, I would like to do some PMS to keep from breaking anything.

They work very well for drag use, but not good at all for road-course/autocross. What are your intentions with the car?

I plan on occasional Drag racing as well as driving to show n shines and street use.

these brackets look real similar to the "south side machine bars" tha i have on my chevelle. i think these guys got bought out by lakewood, anyway the car rides like normal, corners good, uses the stock rear sway bar, and plants the tires, may need an air bag in one of the rear coil springs to preload the rear for hard launches.

I plan on occasional Drag racing as well as driving to show n shines and street use. They should work pretty well for you. They will help you hook up, eliminate wheel-hop, and it won't hurt the ride. The bad side of these, is under hard high-speed braking, it can cause the rear axle to hop (much like wheel-hop when accellerating) when you need the brakes most.
I had SSM bars on my car (same concept), and never experienced brake-hop, but I don't recall ever trying to make a panic stop at anything above 30mph. Just thought I'd let you know it exists, you can make the choice based on that info.

Thank you all for the replies........I am trying to make as informed decision as possible, and the info you provided has helped a bunch.
One other question, I have also heard about no-hops but not all of it good.
Does anyone have info on those, OR given what I intend driving wise, what is your best recommendation for wheel hop and spin control?
Again, Thanks to everyone for the help. I greatly appreciate it.

Both types change the instant center by changing the geometery. The no hops move the upper arm rather than the lower. The results are probably simmilar with either. The no hop is a bolt in as opposed to a weld in which can make the install easier. They would also be removable if you did not like it. I have no hops on my car and like how they work, of course not all are created equal. Was that ok Derek? would never intend to infringe on your expertice.
