On my Chevelle, I got quotes from three different auto glass shops here in Yuma. Went with the PPG vendor. Came to the house and installed it. He did have to order it from Phoenix (2 days). As far as the Pontiac, in the 60's a LOT of cars glass interchanged. I know that say a 61 BelAir HT and Pontiac had the same greenhouse. I had a Pontiac windshield installed in my BelAir because it was a full tint instead of just the band at the top. If you find a GOOD glass shop, they'll have an interchange manual.

I just replaced both my front and back glass.
Didn't want to but I cracked the front windsheild taking off the chrome in prep. for stripping and painting.
Used a local glass replacement dealer. No problem. I think he used Pilkington Glass(LOF). So try a Pilkington or LOF Glass replacement center. They even replaced the clips for me no problem.

Here in MN I had Harmon glass put a new winsheild in my 68 and they even had in stock.
FYI, Don't buy any brand rear window for a 68-72 2 dr hdtp made by any other than LOF (Pilkington). Especially the other "P" brand. They are made completely wrong and don't come anywhere close to fitting. I learned the hard way.
