The Title sums it up. I want to sell my 68 el camino 10 bolt to a guy with a 64 impalla. Is the 10 bolt too wide for it? Thanks guys.

el camino rear end has a 4 link hook up, whereas impala uses leaf springs. very diffent, not sure about length though.

64 Impala has a 3 or 4 link? coil spring rear suspension but it's nothing like the Elk rear suspension. Would be real "time & work" intensive, but not much is impossible, but this one just isn't easy. A easier swap for the 64 Impala would be a 59-61 Pontiac rear. They're stronger than a 9" Ford but harder to find.
