Hi. Im in the process of replacing my radiator core support on my 71 chevelle. I was wondering if anybody can give me instructions on how to do this. In other words, is there an easy way to get the core support out.Or do I just start taking bolts off.All I have off right now is the grill and the bumper.

I just changed my front end to a different year so it all came off. It was easy for me because I had the fenders and everything off already. But you'll have to take off the grill, the fender extensions, headlights, fender front bolts, the inner fender mounts to it through the bottom, the 2 main bushing bolts on the lower section of it, on the battery side it's right under the batt. The battery will come out too. Once you get all the bolts out, you'll realise it won't come off, theres always 1 or 2 small hidden bolts smile.gif Just take your time and keep everything organized. Very important! I lost a couple little pieces, a few trips to the hardware store and some OPG orders. You should replace those bushing/bolts set there probably worn out. Pretty ok on the pricing too, if the old ones are saggy or cracked the grille and fenders will need shims and wont set straight.... it didnt with mine.
Hope that makes sence....
