Can anyone tell me if 69-72 chevelle one peice rotors will work with 4 piston calipers? I have the two peice rotors right now and one needs turned and can't be. The part stores only sell the one peice now and I am not sure if they will work with the 4 piston calipers?
Thanks

The original 2 piece rotors for the 4 piston factory setup are no longer available and replacements are of the one piece variety. The later rotors are not the same as the earlier and are not interchangeable.

Steve,
I am not sure if i understand:so what you are saying is that the original four piston calipers will not work with the one piece rotors?

If I may answer for Steve, The 2 piece style is no longer available. In It's place they sell a 1 piece rotor. This replacement is made to go with the 4 piston style caliper. Other 1 piece rotors (69 and later) will not work with your calipers. My car has 4 piston and I bought new rotors for it from Hinshaw. They are the 1 piece type for this application and bolted right up. Hope that clears it up for you.

Scott,
Thank you for the clarification. The one piece 69-72 that is offered at part stores will not work. I will get a set from Hinshaws at Carlisle. Thank you
