Hey guys. I have a 1972 Chevelle, I'm looking to replace the front end off of that car with the two headlight style off of the 1970.

I was wondering what parts would be required. I know I need fenders for the turn signals, bumper, grill, etc. What other parts will be required?

Also, do any of you know where I might be able to get these parts without destroying my bank account?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just saw the other post about swapping out a 70 front end. Sorry, I didn't see it before I posted this one. So that answers the first part of my question. Sounds like it's a royal pain.

If I did decide to go through with it however, do you guys have a possibly estimate of total cost and where I could get the parts from?

You would need a parts car to do it and be affordable. If it were me and i found a 70 parts car i would sacrifice the 72 and let the 70 live on.But i have a soft spot in my heart for 70's.

You know... I sorta like the '70 more then the '72 as well, but I fell in love with THIS '72 and there's no way I'd ever sack her for anything. It's sorta like if you really have a thing for brunettes, but this one blonde just hits a soft spot. Dunno.
