I'm wondering if having different types of coil springs between the front and rear can cause a dangerous situation. What I mean is, I have new factory small block springs in the front of my 66. It has a big block in it but a lot of lighter than stock parts so thats why I went with small block ones. It is lowered using dropped spindles and Howe tall ball joints. The rear springs are supposedly 2" drop "handling" type springs as opposed to the front stock ones. They were in the car when I got it. My car is a street car but it is also designed around drag racing. I realize the rear springs aren't ideal for drag racing but I want the rear to stay lowered. Any opinions/options about this? Thanks.
David.
