I just ordered a Moroso anodized oil pan and would like to paint it black. Any ideas if this can be done and what type of paint to use ?

sandblast it or sand it with 180 grit paper for texture, then apply epoxy primer followed by singlestage urethane and it will last for years and years.

I just painted the Milodon pan with rattle can Plasticoat Chevy orange...worked fine, still looks good, and it's been about a year.

The best thing to do would be have it powder coated. It will last forever. I had the Moroso pan on my 502 powdered over a year ago & it still looks good. The blast/sand, epoxy & paint will work fine but, you can't hardly pay for materials for what powder coating costs and they have to sandblast it to make powder stick anyhow. It's like the best of both worlds. I have everything I can powdered. JOHN
