I bought a pair of quarter glass seals from our sponsor. How in the heck do you get the old seal out of the chrome piece?

They should slide out the bottom of the retainer, new ones' will slide back in.

I am curious as to how yours work compared to the oem ones. The ones I got do not like going through the "horseshoe" shaped seal in the 1/4 panel when you roll the window down. The get caught every time :( I am probably going to try to find NOS ones.

I'll let you know. I had to goop mine in and it's drying. Not very happy with how easily the Ground Up replacements pop out of the groove.

I did not have an issue the window rolling down at all......and so far, the goop seems to be keeping the seal in place quite well

Can anyone reccommend a good source for these seals for a 70 chevelle? I don't want to have to glue them in if possible.

Make sure you get the ones with the metal insert if not they don't stay in very well. Ask me how I know. Pete

I need to replace both the molding and the inserts. How do you get the molding off the window?
