When I pull down in the center of my hood to close it, one hinge starts to close but the other does'nt want to collapse. I raise the hood fully and try again. Sometimes they both work sometimes the other one starts to close. The result is that when the one starts to close the trailing edge of the hood tweaks and now at the rear edge on the top of both fenders the point of the hood has chipped the paint! What's up help! Give em lots of lube Not WD40 but a good penetrating lube on each of the pivot rivets.
The hinges are just stiff.Be careful if the hinges stick because you can crack the under frame of the hood.
I know cuz my framework is cracked
