can you put 1970s heads on a 1990 engine? what engines are interchangeable?

I think you can as long as it is a Mark IV? Wasn't 91 the year they changed?

i dug deeper and found that 70 to 90 are the same then in 91 the heads chaged to tbi heads thank for the info
