: Where to support the Body after lifting

I know this has been answered many times and I have searched the archives, but where is the best place to support the body after lifting it off the frame? The doors are still in (this is a 72). It looks like one has go go about a foot back from the cowl (to miss the fender support). I planned to put one just in front of the rear wheels. Do you have to put one behind the wheels???

Thanks,

I like to build a small box out of 2x6
with casters. then make a body support jig that has the same dim as the frame. The dim are in the factory shop manual.
You are heading in the right direction
At the fire wall in front of rear wheels and at the back trunk.
You now can roll it around and work almost unobstructed on it.

You can also support the body under the rocker panels. I currently have my car supported this way.
