I have a 71 SS. I have a couple of small areas of surface rust that I cleaned up and used POR-15. I did not do the whole trunk....just the areas that needed it. I was just getting ready to spray the trunk spatter. (Dupli-Color DM109 Black with Auqa) I sprayed a test on cardboard first and it does NOT seem to match the original. My original seems a lighter black almost a gray. The speckles are more round then the DM109. I did a search here and it seems other guys have had a dead match. Am I using the right stuff for a 71? I was hoping not to do the whole trunk.
