There is a 63 nova for sale. I could get it for $5500.00 I looked at it today and was suprised to find minimal rust.Looks like it has good floors has a 350/th350 combo,new exhaust(flowmaster) and idles really smooth.I noticed it has a hole in the trans. hump like it previously had a floor shifter.Has bench seats and interior is intact.The guys asking $7000.00 obo. He said he will take $5700.00 for it. I got about $5500.00 saved for an engine I wanted to build for my 72 chevelle,but the wife fell in love w/ this nova.She keeps begging me to buy it for HER,(yeah right)! Do you guys think $5500.00 is too much? Any suggestions appreciated.
P.S I never seen my wife excited for any old car or ever evem want one(this scares me a bit!!
Has she driven it yet? Those little Novas with no suspension mods drive like an "old car". I drove a friends 63 ragtop home when he bought it. It was a peach and IMO it was not a nice driving car at all compared to a camaro or chevelle of the same era. Just my opinion. The price is alright from what I see for sale, but it'll need some upgrades I bet :)

Thats a good price, I would go for it.
besides you can Call it your wifes car but in reality you now have 2 cool cars.:)

I say get the car for the wife IF it's mechanically sound.. Just make sure she understands the the motor for the velle is coming soon & you may have to go into the household fund to do it ;)
