Does a 383 chevy motor require a different distributor and starter than a 350 dos? Thanks just trying to figure out what I can use off of my old motor, when I do my 383 swap. BRian.

The dizzy you can still use, but I think you will need a starter for a 400ci since the flywheel/pressureplate would be from a 400ci.
