I know this doesn't really belong here, but I thought it was important enough for this forum.

I got the Recall Notice for the front ABS sensors for my 02 1500HD pickup and went to the dealer for an appointment yesterday and the day is April 17th, 2006 so if you get a Recall in the mail for the ABS sensors, don't delay in making an appointment to get it done, there is quite a backlog in my area and there are probably 10 Chevy dealers around the DC Beltway.

Sounds like the best thing to do is call ahead and make an appointment if things are that far backlogged.

Had mine done this past Monday. Called the Friday before and made an appointment. Took 45 minutes.
