69 Trunk Paint Color? Green & Black or Gray & White? Which is correct for 69 Chevelle? I think Green (Aqua) & Black....

Aqua/Black for '69. The Parts Place now sells the proper trunk paint by the quart, around $70.00. This paint can be sprayed with a gun and needs no topcoat. IMHO, spend the extra money and avoid the crappy spray cans, all of which rerquire a topcoat.

There is a member on this site in Canada ( I believe ) who did use it and posted pics, it looked awesome. I have mine waiting to be picked up in Toronto, and hopefully my trunk will be sprayed by late spring.

I initiated a post about the paint a while back, and the member who used it may be listed as one of the contributors to that post.

I used the trunk kit from the Eastwood Co. last time around and wasn't happy at all with it.

The member was Bad67ss who used the paint. He's from Kitchener, Ontario.

Many thanks. Do you know how much I will need of the Aqua/Black to paint the trunk of my 69? 1 quart or 2 quarts? I plan to use my spray gun! Great idea.

I believe the 1 quart will be more than enough to do your trunk.
