Hello Guys' I need to figure out how to pop a dent out on my hood. As I was pulling my 71 into the garage I pulled a little too close to my work bench. The workbench hit my hood on the raised center and pushed it in about 1/4 inch. This caused a dent on either side of the center vein about 2" in diameter and 1/4" deep. I looked under the hood, but I dont see a way to get behind the dent to push it out. The paint is no scratched so I hope y'all can help me figure out how to fix it withour involving the body shop.

Steve,
I'd stop by one of those "paintless dent removal" places around town and ask their opinion.
You know, the ones that do the hail damage repairs...
Sorry! graemlins/sad.gif I hope you get it worked out.

That is an amazing looking Chevelle. What color combination is that. What size tires are those. Remember, imitation is the highest form of flattery. Thanks..... graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Thanks Realstreet, The color is Torch Red GM code 75. The paint is Sikkens BC/CC. The stripes are Tuxedo Black. The wheels are Intro Pentia 17"x8" fronts and 17"x10" rears. The tires are Nitto Drag Radials 245/45/17 fronts and 285/40/17 rears.

Bill, I checked with Dent Wizard on Cobb parkway. They said they don't work on classic cars because our cars are real metal.

Steve, when you hit the bench you pushed in the hood and it got some dents. You need to pull the hood out to remove them. Easier said then done.
