Just want to get some pics of cars that used just front lowering springs not drop spindles. I want to lower my front end and want to see what some look like. Also want to find out which brand ppl use to lower them and how much. I'm looking at getting some made at coilsprings.com. I think i want to get 1 1/2". I want the top of the tire to sit level with the bottom lip of the fender.

thanks,

Why not cut the springs in it now?

Mine are the original springs. I cut 1.5 coils off.

lucky3,

I like the stance your car has now, in you signature. What size wheels and tires are you running now?

My car sits low in the front just from the Moroso drag springs and the weight of the BB....

Hi RussD,
I also have a 65 and currently working on the suspension and wheel/tire combo. Would you mind sharing the wheel/tire size, how wide of wheels did you run, and how did you drop the car.
I currently have purchased 2" drop spindles but have not assembled it yet.
Thanks -Kenneth

I'm running 15x8 rims all around and the front tires are 235/60/15 and the backs are 255/60/15 i believe. Thats the stance i want it to be. Thats how it looked before the new springs. Now it sits at least 3" higher and i don't like it.
