I had my blower fan out and i looked up in there with a flashlight and noticed a few spots of rust in the firewall area toward the top what can be done? would i have to patch it from inside the car behind the glove box? the car was factory air but it is all messed up right now

Pull the fender-cut it out and weld in new metal and be done with it
