Still working on my 67 coupe. On the passenger side behind the kick panel, the stock AC unit apparently used to bolt to the huge hole in the side. After I cleaned off the years of gunk and silicon, there are neat little screw holes. Does anyone know if there was a plate made to cover this hole (possibly for AC add/delete)? I don't know what it's called and since I'm going with Hot Rod Air, I don't need the huge hole there anymore. I've also got to close up all the open space in the firewall, but that's another story..... Thanks mucho, in

i have torn down 4 66 chevelles 1 a/c car 3 non a/c on the passenger side the non a/c cars the had a frech air duct with knob & cable. have several left over including kick panel with grille. factory a/c car had three large openings in firewall. right kick panel had no grille & moulded axtension to cover inner air box extension to side cowl.
