I just got my chevelle and I noticed something on the floor between the both brake pedals. It looks like a little switch, a circle about one inch wide. What is this? Is it anything at all?

It's for your high-beams.

I know nothing, newbie. High-beams? Does it have anything to do with the lights. I´m from Sweden

Yeah it's for your headlights. If you hit the switch with your foot when you're driving, the lights get brighter.

The button turns the high beam headlights on & off. Turn your lights on with the switch on the dash. The two outer headlights are on with low beams. Push the button on the floor down & release it. Now all 4 headlights should be on, and an indicator bulb will light up on the dash to tell you that the high beams are activated. Push & release the button again and the high beams will go off.

I'm fairly certain your English is far better than most any of our Swedish!

Did you 70 spend all of its life in Sweden?? Just curious. I find it kindof cool that our Muscle Cars have spread throughout the world.

Nope, just bought it from the US. But there are a lot of "swedish" Chevelles here , of course not as many as there are mustangs.
