Does anybody know what would have been the largest engine option for a Canadian built Chevelle 13437? Also, what would I look for on the Trim Tag?

Thanks,

307 was standard issue for model 13437. The 350-250 HP, 350-300 HP, and 400-330 HP were optional on the base Chevelle.

I know the LS3 400 big block, 330hp was available on U.S. built 13437 Chevelles and assume they would be available in Canada as well...but Canada had a different way of doing things sometimes. I don't know if the engine RPO of LS3 would be on the trim tag or not. I know the Z15 and Z25 codes were used but I have one non-SS (e.g., non Z15/Z25) tag with no engine indication on it. Since there's no 'trim' associated with an optional engine, it probably wouldn't appear.

If you find one with the LS3, you might contact GM of Canada with the VIN and they'll supply you with all the options that car came with - cost is $40 I believe.
