Went up there to Elon yesterday to get some new weatherstripping for Big Green. I hadn't been to his store since it was in Greensboro and I was 16 just after getting the chevelle (and that was a while back!).

Man, does he have alot of stuff in there! It's like chevelle heaven :). I was like a kid in a candy store! Good folks, great service, I just wanted to put in a plug for them. It's awsome to have a great chevelle-only parts store within an hour of my house :D

an example of their customer attitude, I called to ask what time they closed and the woman said '5'. I said well hopefully I can make it by then and her response was 'do you need us to stay later?'.

I'm hoping to make it to their cruise-in in May. He said last year Chuck Hanson was there :)

Didn't go downstairs... I had to get out of there quickly before I spent money I didn't have :D. Everywhere I looked I was like 'I need one those, and one of those, and two of those...'

James and Silvia are great people. They will go out of their way to help you. They are usually at the Peach State show. James will have classes on restoring your chevelle. He also brings a truck load of parts, and if you call ahead he will bring that part with him. Can't beat that service.

Another testimonial...James and Silvia truly are "good people" who love chevelles and made a business out of it. If you get a chance, check out their other shop...if you're like me you'll come out drooling. I think they really care about their customers which is a rare quality these days. BTW they aren't the only "chevelle-only" retailer in your area but they are my favorite...............................tk

Hinshaw's are good people. He put me together a console for my 69 with a mixture of new and used parts that worked out great.

People like that are so rare today. In my business I do alot of deals with other companies and a lot of times you're lucky if you get a callback

I will agree that Hinshaw's is great to do business with. They were a big help with parts for my '69. I just wish their store was closer to me,but that's what mail order is for!

Do the Hinshaws get online? It would be cool to have them post in here once in a while to say hello.

Another vote for James & Slyvia and thier family biz ...... I buy everything from him and he is a little than a few hours away from me :) great chevelle knowledge and service, James online ...I don't think so :)

He has helped me source parts/ services that were real hard to find at fair prices ..... may not be the cheapest on everything everyday but the value of the service and knowledge is worth it. Plus he's a great Chevelle guy who supports our sport
