Has anyone replaced their circuit board on a 72`ss? The question I have is where the fuel gauge posts are they have 2 small nuts holding down the circuit board to make that connection. Is there supposed to be some washers under those nuts or what. I was having a gauge issue and the nuts are there but they were loose when I tighten them down it seems like its grabbing the circuit board almost seems to try and rip it. Seems like it needs washers or something?

Been awhile since I had one apart, but i believe the is supposed to be small brass flat washers there.

I'd put a brass flat washer on the post side and brass star washer on the nut side. The brass star should keep the nut locked better in this high vibration environment.
