I have what i think is a 67 chevelle motor numbers on back of block is 3902406 on front pad is ti209et can anybody decode this. Thanks

Thanks Get the block cast date from inbetween the 2 and 4 cylinders just below the head on the passenger side of the block It will more than likely be K xx 6, with the xx's representing numbers. Block was assembled at Tonowanda 12/09/66 as stated above 67 chevelle 396/325HP/Turbo Hydramatic, there should also be a partial vin derivative next to this identifying the car it was originally installed in.
