Anybody install Air Ride Technologies "Cool Ride" air bag system in the rear? I need the adjustability but don't want a decrease in handling from my hotchkis springs. All input is appreciated! Thanks

I have air bags in my 66, only thing I notice is that it can get harsh in a hurry if you run too much air. At 10 psi there can be a real hard thump when you hit a fair bump. I'm back to about 6-7 psi to stop suspension travel so I cannot possibly rub my 295 50's. They were a breeze to install, and if plumbed individually, you can use them to level the car if you are off a bit.

I'm running Air Ride Shockwaves at all four corners on my 69.

Does it handle the corners as well as it did with springs? My car really holds the road well and I don't want it to have any problems. On Air Ride's website, in their FAQ section, it says that a sway bar can take care of this problem, if that's true I already have one with trailing arm braces and I won't even need to worry. Thanks

If your car has the stock rear suspension,I doubt you will be able to tell much difference,,except for a better ride.
The suspension under my car is considerably different but the Shockwaves seem to work as well as the Strange coilovers that I ran before.

I have air ride suspension in my 65. I love it. I do get a little bouncing when i hit a bump on the freeway. Nothing bad just annoying. I think it might be my setup and since i didn't install them i am not sure why they do that. Anyways if you have any questions please let me know.
