well did anyone try it?? i have the plastic prep and stix i will scuff it really good just wanted some one who tried it first to let me know if it held up? thanks storm

I painted my Delco cap gloss black because it had a slightly flat finish to it when new. Just wiped it down with degreaser, masked the window, hold downs, etc., and shot it with a spray can. No problems in 4 years.

Hey Storm..Have base/coated/cleared 2 caps within 2 years and they still look like new. Two color changes.

had a red one painted mine on saturday now lets see how she holds up.
