I thought I saw an answer to this before, but couldn't find it in archives. The undercarriage(floorboards) is already coated with two part epoxy primer. Now I'm going to paint the underside of the floorpans with POR-15. I then want to paint over it with the same color of the car. If I rough it up and shoot two-part epoxy primer on top of the POR-15, will the primer and paint adhere to it?

Paul, I'm not sure about the 2-part primer, but por15 sells a sandable primer.I just did my frame in por15 silver, then used por15 primer and finished up with krylon semi-gloss black with no adhesion problems from the primer or the paint.I didnt scuff the por15 silver, but did sand the primer before adding the top coat.

Hey Paul !!!!
Long time no hear. I moved from San Diego to Camden Arkansas. How are your projects coming along? That sure was clean 68 you had, do you still have it???
Anyway just saying "HI" and keep an eye out for my good friend Alan. He has been coming to some So Cal Chevelle club cruises. He's a good guy, you should see his 69 SS396 he's working on. It's going to be a nice ride.
