Will the front clip from a 67 El Camino work on a 67 2dr? A friend just got a 67SS with front damage, I told him of a good front clip from a El Camino and all he had to do was re-use the SS hood. He told me a front clip from a El Camino or wagon would not work on the coupe.??

66 and 67 front sheetmetal will interchange- ALL MODELS.
On Later Models, there were differences between Wagons-Elky's from the other body styles..

Not all the sheetmetal is interchangeable for a 66/67 the fenders are not the same.

John, well yes, we do know that '66 fenders and front sheetmetal are different than '67 - but the whole front clips can be interchanged. I have seen '66 front clips on a '67, and a '67 front clip on a '66.
All '67 fenders interchange with all '67's, all '66 fenders interchange with all '66's. ElCaminos share the same sheetmetal with cars for the respective '66 and '67 years.

Should have be more detailed in my response. Was responding to Front Clip question.
66 Chevelle 2 & 4 door, ElCamino, and Wagon are all the same panels.
Same is true for 67.
As Bomber said, and what I meant is, Front Clip assy. will interchange as a unit.
