Hey all,
Well, I finally got disc brakes in my '72 Chevelle Malibu 350, and 150 miles later the left front wheel fell off and the car took a nosedive on the freeway. Guess it serves me right for forgetting to check the lugnuts before driving off. Anyways, now I need to replace the left front fender. I've heard that the replacement fenders through NPD and Year One don't fit well; is there truth to that? My other option to find a no-rust fender from a southern state and have it shipped up, but I'd think that buying like that could be risky and shipping costly. Anyone know where I can pick up a good replacement fender without much trouble? Another problem is that the paint job on the car, made 6 years ago, is in good shape; Buick White with 4 coats of pearl clearcoat, plus hand-painted detailing around the Malibu tag. Is it going to possible to make a match with the pearl coats on the new fender? Thanks for the help,
Brent
