anyone wanna take a wild guess at my cars weight?

1969 Chevelle SS396, bucket seats wtihout console, 1970402 truck engine, iron heads, AC delete, th400, 12bolt posi..

I'll take a guess at around 3500lbs with out driver. I know there are guys out there with the real numbers though

See ChevelleStuff (http://www.chevellestuff.com/69velle/weight.htm) for published weights of most base 69 models, then add or subtract various options. Don't know what you mean by AC delete since AC was an option and not standard anyway. Did it come with factory air and you removed it? Unless you removed EVERYTHING (compressor, condensor, brackets, controls, etc), there's still some residual stuff left.

Curb weight ~ 3335
Bucket seats ~ 14
396/402 engine ~ 249
TH400 ~ 47
Total ~ 3645

Power brakes, disc brakes, power steering, and various radios will add a few more pounds. Engine mods such as headers, aluminum intake, etc. may deduct a few pounds.

3500# to 3600# should be pretty close.

By AC delete, i meant the car never came with AC, since i heard people say radio delete. guess i said it wrong. :/

I have power disc brakes, but also have headers and aluminum intake, so I say around 3800 with me in it.

and brian, if i weight my car and its between 3500-3600, I will personally deliver you a picture of a big stuffed teady bear. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I have the exact same as you except for fiberglass hood. with 1/2 tank of gas and a 260# driver my car weighed 3795#'s.
