Need some help finding a good tech forum for a friends 57 chevy, I've done a web search and can't find anything remotely as good as we have here (Team Chevelle is great!). Tried Chevytalk.com and that site is a nightmare, the search function is horrible. I'm trying to find him some info on disc brake swaps and power steering upgrades. Is there a dedicated shoe box site out there that is user friendly?

My dad has a tr-five restoration shop and knows these cars well..
Sent you a PM with his email address. I'm sure he can and will help. Check his stuff in my signature..

I'm not quite sure why you say that Chevytalk is a nightmare. I know the search function could be better but I didn't have any problems finding pages of disc brake info when I tried it a few minutes ago. If you can't find specific info in a search just ask in the forums. There's nothing that the gang over there haven't done to a tri-5, and they are a friendly bunch that are more than happy to help out. I'm probably a bit biased towards Chevytalk because of being a staff member there for a number of years now but I don't think you gave us a fair shake. There's no other site on the net that will top CT when it comes to tri-5 info period!!!

Ditto
I've been a platinum supporting member of CT for a number of years. There are no more knowlegeable tri five guys IMO. Just ask yoyr question on the modified forum.

I would join chevy talk and ask for the info. you need.
I belong and hang out in the 73-77 section.
My dad needed info on 55-57 parts and there wasnt a question those guys couldnt answer.
