Question for those of you that have removed undercoating. What did you find under the undercoating? My 67 originally had undercoating sprayed on by the dealer back in late 66 and may have had additional undercoating applied over time. I'll be removing the undercoating and am wondering what condition the original underbody paint might be in?

You should find that just about any area that was properly coated with the factory undercoating will be in immaculate condition. I have removed the undercoating from my frame with a scraper and found metal in perfect condition. I sanded it with a black scotchbrite wheel, cleaned it with "wax and grease remover" then coated it with POR-15. Looks great. graemlins/waving.gif
