I have a light copper colored 71 Chevelle SS. It does not have the black SS stripes. Just wondering if you have any photos of one with the stripes.
Also, what type of paint do you recommend? I plan on having the body shop do the work, but I would like someone elses opinion to get a quality job I feel confortable with.
Thanks,
Ed

If you are going to have a body shop paint the car, they will want to use the brand they are familiar with. Most shops use a supplier they can get the better service from. They will more than likely recommend a base/clear in a brand like Sherwin-Williams, PPG etc. Most of the popular paint brands are high quality products...

I agree with Bill, if you're taking it to a bodyshop, have them use a paint that they are familiar with. A lot of shops use PPG, and it's great quality. Dupont is also another very nice paint that I happen to like.
