I'm interested in selling this 1968 chevelle but someone has changed the rear bumper and tail-lights to a 1971 or 1972. I have been told that thay are not interchangable. Do you know if thats true.

that would be interesting to see, can you post a picture? what did they do, leave the stock tail lights and add the bumper with the round tail lights too. Jim

Please don't post a pic of a 68 with 71 tail lights and rear bumper. I'm weak!! I'm not sure I could handle it emotionally...

I just want to know, is that a bolt on or do you have to do some surgery to make it work? Jim

we've been having a couple of laughs with this for the past couple of days down in bench racing, I might be the guy he's talking about. As I stated before Jose, it's fine that it has a 72 rear end on it, but make sure you state that in your auctions description, because undoubtedly your going to have a guy who doesn't know that the rear on a 68 isn't supposed to look like that and you will make whoever that person is mighty angry with you. the car has been backhalved from the pictures I have seen, some real major surgery. It's called a hack job or butcher job. Someone, somehow put a 70-72 quarter on a 68. I don't know if I would like to see that being done or not :clonk:
