I know this sounds funny, but does anyone make a fender patch for the 70 chevelle for the area in front of the wheel, the piece with the side marker light in it?

thanks
rick

Rick, I can't imagine it would be too hard or expensive to find an original fender with heavy rust in the rear portion, but a good front section to use as a donor. It would probably cost the same as buying a patch panel (if it was available), and you know for sure it's going to fit.

Which side fender do you need it for?

Well, once in a while we get 4-doors and even a few 2-door Chevelles in the junkyards around here. If a 70 happens to appear and the fenders have that section straight, I'll cut them off for you. Well, what kind of tool should I use to cut them off? If you can find that out for me, I'll be on the look out.

I'll also contact you again within next year or so, I might have the driver's side from my car to pass on to you, but I'm not sure yet.

How is the rear portion of the fenders? If they are in good shape, I will pay you for the rear portions.

sorry ryan that is why i scrapped them. the drivers side had been in a wreck and had to much bondo. and under that bondo there were the usual rust. i have found rust free 71s at some wrecking yards but i had to buy new 70s. i shipped professor the lowers but the shipment was returned because of wrong address. so i guess i will toss them with the rest of the fender that i cut them from.
