I have a lead on a 65 Malibu SS convertible which was hit in the front. It will need a hood, a drivers door, 2 fenders, bumper... basically a front clip. Frame to probably. It's a 289 with powerglide. Needs paint. New interior. Holley 4 barrel carb, mild cam, Aluminum edelbrock manifold, hedman headers, black top with glass window. Original orange valve covers, oil pan, manifold is included with sale.

I am looking to buy it just to flip it. Sell it on ebay or something. Fund my 69 resto.

Do not know if it is #'s matching or not.

What could I possibly get for it?

Thanks.

The only problem with turning cars for cash is cutting corners. I have seen far to many times guys who look to make the big score on a car and wind up at a loss. This is a game for guys who have cash to do this and can take the hit if it goes sour. A local guy wound up paying $5000 for repairs on a car deal where he got sued buy the buyer.

Even with pictures we could only guess because of what all doesn't show in pictures and who knows what someone else might think it's worth.

A convertible being one of the most sought after body styles, a wrecked 65 might be worth only 200.00 to one person or 20,000. to another depending on condition (and how truthful the ebay ad is :) )

I would think IF the frame is damaged beyond repair or not would be a big factor since it would probably be almost impossible to find a good frame.

I remember one convertible that looked to me like a parts car only worth junk price but wound up bringing BIG BUCKS on ebay.
