Just replaced my PS box with a 70 manual steering box including Pittman arm on my 69 Chevelle. Having trouble getting the geometry correct again, can't get the steering wheel centered once all the pieces are bolted up again. The manual I have doesn't cover conversions.

I just finished a paper on steering wheel centering for the A-car. Please download this paper. I would like any feedback as to its value, clarity, etc.
Here is the link:

Jim, all your pieces are great and I'm sure have been a BIG help to many.
What about people that don't have MS Word?
Have you given thought to some other format in addition to MS Word?
We should have all those valuable articles hosted here too.
I would be glad to help (if needed)
I converted this one to a pdf file.

Your Tech Section used to be moderated by Wes Vann. But he stopped updating the section back in 2002. There are some postings by me in the Tech Section but for the most part they have all been updated and a lot more new ones written since 2002. At one time I was sending Wes duplicates of the A-car stuff that was being posted in the special A-car steering section of www.corvettefaq.com
If you ever get another moderator for the Tech Section, I would start submitting A and F-car stuff.
As to the word.doc comment. I already spend a lot more time writing steering papers and answering questions than I really should. I also answer postings on the Corvette Forum and the Camaro Tech forums as well. Luckily, I am retired so all it really does is interfere with my afternoon naps and bridge games!!!
Of course, the way things are going at Delphi, you might find me as a Walmart greeter to supplement my retirement checks.
