The 350 in my truck has been acting up lately. If I just get in and drive it will normally drive alright but if I let it warm up it will start missing and acts as though the timing is off. My o2 sensor is disconnected right now cause it stripped out when I was going to change it but it didn't start acting up right away when I unhooked the o2 sensor. Any suggestions on what it might be. By the way this is in my 92 pickup.

Sounds to me that I would start w/ the o2 sensor as it controls alot of things you have a important part of the computer system out of the loop. IMPO

One other thing is the o2 sensor has been bad for a long time setting off my check engine light but I just never changed it. It doesn't act up all the time but it seems to do it more and more often.

Your truck is trying to tell you to get in and drive away normally.

I have to let it warm up sometimes on cold mornings. I am going to get that old o2 sensor out this week and put th new one in. Maybe it will help.
