I was considering using Global West upper and lower arms with the tall spindles however, after reading the threads on bump steer I'm thinking otherwise.
What about drop spindles, is bump steer a problem?
How about the quality of Global West, any experience?
Thanks

The only spindles available that even make a dent it correcting bump steer are the AFX and supposedly the Fatman spindle though I have not seen them myself. Nothing GW sells will be anything short of "B" body spindles cleaned up. The overall workmanship of their products is very nice and the Teflon bushings they sell are the best available anywhere.
There really is no need for the control arms; they will not make a handling difference in your car.

Talk to Marcus at SC&C. Here's the link.

He's got a tall ball joint and adjustable upper control arm setup that, unlike some of the other setups, doesn't worsen bumpsteer to improve geometry. Best of all, the setup is very reasonable. Good luck!

Wait until about the end of March. Marcus has designed a new steering arm to use with the AFX spindle that improves the bumpsteer. No one seems to know for sure what's up with the new FatMan spindle but unless it has a steering arm designed for the A-body, it's not gonna help.
