how do you guys finish a b/c system in the hard to reach areas,i.g. door jams, under hood , etc.
do these areas get wet sanded and buffed,or do you just clear them. im new to this so bear with me.
thanks bill

Usually if you apply the clear right the jambs will look good enough as sprayed, for perfect show car quality I usually wetsand the clear with 2000 and follow up with 2500 and or 3000 then rub them by hand with compound then polish. Stay away from edges and the tight areas where sanding is impossible. Bob

If you REALLY want to get anal about this stuff there are some great mini buffers out there.
The three major tool trucks all sell them.
Chicago Pnematic(sp?) sells a nice kit as well.
I have the Snap on/Blue point unit, it came with a 3in pad and two wool pads.

Meguiars sells kits for these mini buffers, you can get less aggressive foam pads and wool pads as well.
